6. Get Your Coat and Bring in the Pine
Most apartments have policy about having a real tree in your home but that’s no reason you can’t have some authentic pine garland. One of my favorite winter-long crafts is to put on my heavy coat and go for a country drive to our nearest forest and pick a few pine branches to bring home. And if you live in the city most tree lots offer pine scraps for sale or even for free.
Then the sky’s the limit. You can use your pine to add magic all round your home, or as gift toppers, in arts and craft projects, ontop of cakes or pies, deck the halls with boughs of holly and garlands of pine- you truly have no limit what you can do with your pine. Remember to clean your pine real tough outside before bringing it in to get any bugs off of them and again once inside with soap and water before use.
